Lesson 10: Common Blocks and How to Overcome Them
Common Blocks and How to Overcome Them
Oops, I Think I Messed Up!
It’s normal to face challenges as you build your remote viewing skills. The key is to recognize them and know how to overcome them.
Block 1: Fear of Failure
-
- What it feels like: “What if I’m totally wrong?”
- How to fix it: Remote viewing is about learning, not perfection. Every session, even the “bad” ones, teaches you something. Celebrate progress, not perfection!
Block 2: Overthinking
-
- What it feels like: “Am I making this up? Is this real?”
- How to fix it: Quiet your analytical mind by focusing on raw impressions. Trust your first thoughts—they’re often the most accurate.
Block 3: Distractions
-
- What it feels like: “Why am I suddenly thinking about my grocery list?”
- How to fix it: Create a distraction-free environment and take a few deep breaths to refocus. Practice makes this more manageable over time.
Activity:
Pick one of these blocks you’ve experienced (or might worry about) and write a short journal entry about how you’ll handle it. Imagine your future self confidently navigating these challenges!
